Maturity

I am the Bride of Christ. My whole life has been a physical manifestation of this reality: the Word of God made flesh through me. 

Ever since I can remember the Word of God has been everything to me. When I was 9, I began to read through the Bible and slept with it too. It became precious to me, my protection and covering. Before I knew what it was meant to do I could feel God’s Presence when I read it too and it washed me clean and continues to deliver me from so much dysfunction and abuse. 

As I grew I began to find many would resist me for reasons I could not conceive but only recently have I begun to see that it was not me but the Word made flesh that caused them to leave because my life had become a call to maturity.

This is what the Word will do when it gets inside of you. 

The mature Bride naturally exposes things like narcissism in the Body, Family, and Community which is in essence a refusal to mature and take responsibility where it is required to be. But when honored, heard, and seen the Word has been able to bring the alignment we all desperately need. 

Happy Mother’s Day 2026 to all the faithful women who have become the Word made flesh to their families and communities and in doing so brought the Bride into the maturity she needs despite how costly it’s been to you from those who have resisted Him too. Keep being radiant and true! This world desperately needs the gospel preached through you. 

To everyone else I say: Love Him and treasure His Word as Precious like the air you breathe. Meditate on it constantly and let it become flesh in you. That is the Revival we all need: the Word becoming a human being. 

“And to the husbands, you are to demonstrate love for your wives with the same tender devotion that Christ demonstrated to us, his bride. For he died for us, sacrificing himself to make us holy and pure, cleansing us through the showering of the pure water of the Word of God. All that he does in us is designed to make us a mature church for his pleasure, until we become a source of praise to him—glorious and radiant, beautiful and holy, without fault or flaw.”
