Enduring Love

“So now, beloved ones, stand firm, stable, and enduring. Live your lives with an unshakable confidence. We know that we prosper and excel in every season by serving the Lord, because we are assured that our union with the Lord makes our labor productive with fruit that endures.”

This painting is expressing the stability, confidence, and identity growing in me as I go deeper into what it means to be in union or covenant love with God and then in covenant love with other covenant keeping kinds of friends. 

Covenant brings enduring love that won’t leave or abandon me but will continue to fight for my heart and pursue me no matter what the cost. Covenant love is won by blood and it never leaves. Covenant love is enduring. In this love I am finding the ability to stabilize from all the trauma I have received and discover my true identity. Covenant love brings out the best in me and gives me wings to fly free. Covenant love causes me to sing and blossom and bloom into the real me I was made to be. Covenant love is here to stay and covenant love will never go away!

“Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you. Again I will build you, and you shall be rebuilt, O virgin of Israel! You shall again be adorned with your tambourines, And shall go forth in the dances of those who rejoice.” Jeremiah 31:3-4 NKJV
